Week 6: Euless Trinity at San Angelo Central, Oct. 5
Mark this down as the most anticipated game of the regular season. San Angelo Central and its new district rival, Euless Trinity, are set to battle for the District 3-6A title at San Angelo Stadium. Of all the new threats Central must contend with in its new Dallas-Fort Worth district, Trinity commands the most attention. The Trojans have won three state titles in their history. They went 11-3 last season and reached the state quarterfinals. Central and Trinity each won district titles last year and return nine starters. Central and Trinity have only played one other time, and it was a memorable one. Trinity edged Central 22-20 in 1992 in the state quarterfinals.
